Christmas Parade * 2:00 p.m., free!
Before the Parade, the Union County High School Band will be on the court house lawn
for parade route and application!
Rain date for Christmas Parade, Dec. 8, 2:00 p.m.
Santa Claus * before the Parade, free!
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Courtroom of the Courthouse
Children in line by 1:00 p.m. will see Santa Claus
Feel free to Bring your own camera.
We will post our own photographer’s photo on an on-line blog for you to download.
Living Nativity * There will be a full size Nativity scene at Mountain life Museum
Open House by the Society * free!
10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p m. There will be an Open House in the restored 1906 Butt-Mock House at the Mountain life Museum. Come by and see the furniture in the restored interior. Payne Cabin (1961) will be open.

Proceeds on these days will benefit the Union County Historical Society. Each year during the Christmas season, Charles Griffin, owner and builder, generously allows various groups to receive the proceeds from tours of his Misty Mountain Model Railroad.
